Hlid is located with road number 502 “Svinadalsvegur” approximately 50 km from Reykjavik, 18 km from Akranes and 30 km from Borgarnes.

Driving from Reykjavik through the Hvalfjordur tunnel:

You follow Road number 1 through the Hvalfjardar tunnel until you reach road number 47 “Hvalfjordur” then you turn right and follow road number 47 for about 3,2 km and then turn left into road number road 502.  Now you see the farm in about 1 km distance straight ahead.

Driving from Reykjavik across Hvalfjordur:

You follow road nr. 1 until just before the tunnel, then you turn right into road nr 47 which you follow until you reach road nr. 502 then you turn right and the farm is in about 1 km distance straight ahead.

Driving from the north.

You follow road nr 1 and aproximately 30 km after you drive through Borgarnes you turn left into road number 47 “Hvalfjordur” and follow that road for about 3,2 km then turn left into road number road 502.  Now you see the farm in about 1 km distance straight ahead.
